Saturday musli, mmm chocolate…


I made musli every week for a while, today my daughter fancied a new recipe. We decided to try this one from :

We did as usual do some changes to the original recipe while cooking…

3,5dl oats
1dl pumpkin seeds
1,5dl chopped walnuts and pecans
1 dl honey (or brown sugar for vegan)
0,5dl warm water
3 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1,5 tsp instant coffee
some psyllium, sesame and chia seeds
a pinch of salt

Mix wet ingredients with the coffee and cocoa. Pour over the oats and nuts, stir well and sprinkle with seeds. Spread out on a baking sheet and dry in oven for about 40 minutes on a 100°C heat.
It turned out quite sweet but I guess much healthier than coco pops!
Next time we’ll use less cocoa and I think it would be nice with cornflakes in it.
